Electronic services became the major player in citizen/client engagement; eservices provide a fast and flexible communication channels between organizations and their clients.

In Alwasat, we believe that providing e-services require more than processes automation, information technology alone cannot provide a real e-services. Processes transformation is the major task in developing and delivering e-services.

Sample Project

Multichannel Citizen Relationship Management (CRM)- for Taiz Local Government

Multichannel CRM is an e-government project that will enable Taiz local state to respond efficiently and effectively when citizens need assistance. The Project will include:

  • The establishment of One-stop citizen self-service Portal,
  • Multichannel call centre,
  • Citizen relationship management system with
  • Strong capabilities of polices/business rules management

The Multichannel CRM is the first project among several projects that a typical e-government strategy of a local state may include.

Alwasat developed the wining proposal of Taiz e-government CRM in cooperation with Taheel for development Yemen, Microsoft, and Link development Egypt

Methodology (Government Transformation)

Government Transformation methodology accommodates the international standards of implementing e-government projects as well as the specific requirements of the project. The methodology incorporates Microsoft Sure Step methodology for project management and planning. The Methodology framework categorizes activities into five e-government columns; these columns are citizens, employees, Processes, technologies, and resources. Four stages are involved in the methodology; Readiness, Pilot, Evaluate, and Expand.
